Hotch Potch is a card game to test your memory and learn the alphabet, from The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation.
Hotch Potch uses playing cards that first appeared on a 1782 print, created by Carrington Bowles in London, as "The Comical Hotch Potch or the Alphabet turnd Posture-Master,” helping 18th-century boys and girls learn the letters of the alphabet. It’s a game for kids of any age!
Hotch Potch includes:
• Alphabet cards to work your memory
• Two modes of play--FUN for a relaxing game; SCORED for gathering points
• A randomizer card that unexpectedly re-shuffles cards
• Timed play to test your speed
• BONUS feature in the Scored mode to increase your points
• A pause button so you can return later to finish the game
